Dr. Corinna Reipen
Corinna Reipen conducts research in contemporary American fiction and poetry. Most recently she has been
concerned with the theory and praxis of podcasting and its interrelations with poetry.
She wrote her dissertation on picture theory and visual perception in the work of Siri Hustvedt. Her research on
Hustvedt was published as Visuality in the Works of Siri Hustvedt. (Frankfurt am Main., Bern: Peter Lang, 2013).
She studied in London and Mannheim and received her Diploma in English Literature and Business
Administration from the University of Mannheim in 2009.
